Joshua Lost His First Tooth!!

Good news! Joshua finally lost his first tooth!! It's been loose and ready to fall out for weeks, now, but he was too scared to let Dad pull it out. So finally, Sariah pinned him down and yanked it out! Yoorah!! Now he can actually sleep and function during the day. He was so excited! He is anxiously waiting for the rest of his teeth to fall out. I will keep you posted on the results of that :)

Karate Performance Team

At karate class yesterday, Mr. Ruiz (Marcus) asked Joshua to be on the Performance Team. They perform karate routines in front of crowds like schools and stuff. Only kids with the best skills and focus are invited to be on the team. Usually they only get older kids because they can memorize the routines and they have the muscular strength, but Joshua has it all! Go Joshua!!

Time for Toddler Bed

Kayla spent her first night in a toddler bed last night. She was a little freaked out when we took the side off the crib, but she seemed to think it was pretty cool to be able to get in and out of bed by herself. She didn't really want to go to bed at first, but she slept in it just fine and only fell out twice.

Toilet is Kayla's Safe Zone

Appearantly, Kayla thinks her little potty training toilet is a safe zone. Sariah was trying to get her dressed when she ran in to the master bath and plopped herself down on the toilet babbling something, as if the toilet would keep her safe!

First Post!!

So I have been wanting to do a blog for a while now, but Chad really wanted to do a website instead. Well, my friend had her blog put into a hardcovered book. It was everything that she had written and the pictures that she had posted over the last year. It was really COOL! I asked to borrow the book and all I had to do was show Chad and he was sold. I am really excited to make my first book and to read back what we write. Am I excited to learn all this blogging stuff..... uh... NO. It is to homemaking like, I guess. It feels almost like I am doing crafty things. Not my cup of tea. Who knows though, I might end up really enjoying it.
